One of the things I hate most in life is when someone says I can’t do something. It drives me nuts.
In a moment, I’ll share with you an amazing video on youtube that is taking the Internet by storm. As of yesterday morning, it was seen by 5 million people. As of yesterday evening, it was seen by 9 million people.
You have to see this video. It’s one of the most inspiring things I’ve seen or heard.
Take a look…
Yes, Victor, that’s such an inspiring video!
On the other hand, I agree with Randy Pausch’s Last Lecture (one of my favorite online lectures of all time) when he said to appreciate your critics, because they care about you – if they didn’t, you’d have no feedback at all, which is a worse place to be.
My 2 cents. 🙂 Good luck with the keynote!
I loved the Last Lecture on so many levels. Though while I can definitely see why one should appreciate one’s critics, it’s my take that not all critics criticize out of care.
Some do so to make themselves feel better… the I push you down, so I push myself up kind of people I try to avoid.
That being said, those that give constructive feedback in a good natured way are great and very helpful.
Hi Victor,
The video sounds really interesting but was taken off of youtube. Do you have the title of it by any chance so I can search for it elsewhere? Thanks!
